MCT Committees & Schedules

Note: It is not necessary to be a member of the Board of Directors to serve on a MCT committee listed below.

Building Committee

Supervises the maintenance of the building and grounds, and oversees the costume and prop managers. This committee submits requests for repairs/upgrades to the board and organizes work days. Supervises the routine care/cleaning of all areas of the building, especially during show dates.

Meets at 8:30 AM Saturday after third Wednesday of month.

Workday will begin at 9 am.

Finance Committee

Prepares and submits the annual budget, makes financial reports and assists in organizing all fund raising activities. This committee may assist with season tickets, program advertising and soliciting show sponsors. Responsible for marketing the MCT organization and it's product into the community. The committee's emphasis is on fund raising. This committee solicits sponsors for upcoming season. They may also assist with the program advertising.

Meeting at 5:30 PM the 2nd Tuesday of each month.

Playreading Committee

Reads and considers material for MCT productions. The committee recruits directors and producers, then submits proposed plays for each season to the Board of Directors. If you have a show that you would like to direct or produce, please attend a playreading meeting and present it to the committee.

Meeting at 5:30 PM the 2nd Monday of each month.
